If We Were Having Coffee | March 14, 2015

Photo by my fellow travelling geek, Alice! Available on stationary, iPhone skins, and more!

I snapped this photo last year and I should confess that’s actually a cappuccino, not a coffee. Shhh! Available on stationary, iPhone skins, and more!

Happy Saturday, everyone! Northern Italy is already in full Spring mood and I’m sneezing like crazy, because of my pollen allergy. Not my favourite time of the year, but I try to find something positive.

  • If we were having coffee, I’d tell you about my very first Funko POP figure I received this week from a special friend and I’d ask you what’s your favourite one. I’d also probably ask you if you already have a collection and if you’re planning to grow it. I think the phrase “I never touched a Funko in my life” won’t be a thing of mine anymore. Hooray!
  • If we were having coffee, I’d tell you that I’m not a vlogs gal, because my internet connection is so slow that I can barely watch a YouTube video. However, I recently discovered people who makes video about Filofax planners and I’d tell you how much I always loved those planners and I didn’t know that people actually shares their planning systems. I’d also tell you that, even if I’m not a crafty person anymore, I really enjoy watching a couple of videos about art journaling, they’re so inspiring!
  • If we were having coffee, I’d tell you that I’ve finally finished my entire rereading project of the Harry Potter series. I started last year and I managed to finish the last book only few days ago. I’d also confess you that I read only the first four books multiple times (four times, if I remember well), while I read only one time the last three, I still was in highschool. I’d also admit that my lack of memory concerning the books was awkward, because the movies made me to forget the original plots. Finally, I’d ask you how many times have you read the Harry Potter books.

Look who stopped by to say hullo! #GeekandSXSW

I always forget how spoiled I am when you remind me of your slow internet connection. Yet it’s a testament to how amazing you are that you still manage to blog (in multiple places), tweet, Instagram…just BE EVERYWHERE…even with your challenges.

    Thanks for the coffee, Alice!

Journaling is something I’ve tried to do, but I just can’t keep up with it. And I’ve watched a few of those videos. I’m not ashamed to admit I like watching them. I can totally see me watching these whenever I have time to waste. I’m not sure if I want to thank you or blame you for my procrastination.

I’ll go ahead and say thanks for now. 🙂

yay spring weather! does this mean we have this coffee/tea in one of those picturesque italian street cafes?

i don’t have a funko figure yet, but maria put a very persistent flea in my ear about them on twitter a good while ago. i am still waiting for blade runner funko pop figures. once these exist, there will be no stopping. that, or metal gear solid ones.

regading those planners, i guess i am completely not wired to use them. i think on paper religiously, filling pages upon pages with plans, thought processes, sketches, and so on. but i am too chaotic to use such a planner. i admire the order they can exert on people.

    mille grazie por il tè!

My son wants to start collected FUNKO pop figures, and I’m almost inclined to let him. I like them, too. lol

We’re reading the Harry Potter books right now, actually, out loud, and I’m not sure when I’m going to stop. We’re in book 2, but he’s only 6, so they’re a bit young for him, and starting with Goblet of Fire, they’ve got some really frightful plots in them, not just a few passing sad or scary moments.
